About This Tool
This converter uses a phonetic approximation of Egyptian hieroglyphic uniliterals (single-sound signs).
It's designed as a fun, educational tool rather than a historically accurate transcription system.
Ancient Egyptian didn't have exact equivalents for some modern letters (like V, X, or C), so we've
mapped them to the closest phonetic matches. Vowels are particularly approximate, as Egyptian
hieroglyphic writing primarily recorded consonants.
